POOJA SHETH MADHAVAN

Hailing from a complete non-jewellery background, Pooja founded the brand with a strong passion and desire to establish Limelight as the largest sustainable luxury brand from India to the world. Previously an investment banker, Pooja gained her knowledge from leading global education schools such as London School of Economics and Harvard Business School. Having previously worked for Barclays Capital in London, her sound understanding of management coupled with a global perspective sets her apart as the new-age leader, which has resulted in establishing the brand to be the new wave of brilliance in India. Recognized for her efforts in the gems and jewellery sector, Pooja has won several accolades including the 40 under 40 Award by the GJEPC, Young Achiever’s award 2022, Economic Times Business Icons Award 2020, Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs  2020 and many others.

Kalpan Dalal

Kalpan holds a strong background in Accounting & Finance and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. A key member of the founding team, Kalpan fully leads the jewellery production at Limelight along with management of finances and accounts. Prior to this, Kalpan co-founded DB Jewels, a Mumbai based jewellery manufacturer and wholeseller. Having a very focused and meticulous approach, Kalpan had a very strong inclination and interest in jewellery production & manufacturing which led him to enter the gems and jewellery industry after his Accounting practice. He gathered a wide range of knowledge and picked up on production skillsets & practical expertise to later spearhead production at his own entrepreneurial venture at DB Jewels. Strong accounting background coupled with his sound production knowledge has served him to be an invaluable contributor to Limelight’s growth.

NIRAV BHATT

Nirav, a 3rd generation jewellery enthusiast, is a qualified Chartered Accountant with family background in gold & diamond jewellery retailing of over 35 years. As part of the founding team, Nirav heads the Sales and Operations verticals at Limelight. Previously, Nirav co-founded and handled sales at DB Jewels, a Mumbai based jewellery manufacturing and wholesale company. Prior to that, Nirav also worked as Senior Audit Manager at P.Parikh & Associates. With over 35 years of family background in the jewellery business, Nirav holds a deep understanding of the jewellery business and his passion for sales has held him in good stead to lead the sales front at Limelight.

DR. PRASAD KAPRE

Dr. Prasad Kapre, with 24 years of experience in the industry, has played a huge role in shaping up the Indian Diamond Jewellery Industry. As the first employee & later the Business Director of De Beers India, he led the team that was instrumental in taking the Indian diamond jewellery market from $400m to $8bn in 14 years.

Dr. Prasad’s wealth of knowledge, experience & guidance will truly serve as a great asset to the Company.

KARAM CHAWLA

Mr. Karam Chawla, a 3rd generation jewellery enthusiast, is a BBA graduate in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from University of Toronto, Canada. He also holds a diploma degree from the prestigious institutes like IGI and GIA for his completion in diamond programmes. His family has been in the natural diamond business for over 30 years and his passion for diamonds made him follow the same path. His enthusiasm and creative inputs bring numerous valuable insights to the table.
